Propeller blades are normally designed according to their use, and airplane blades are different from wind turbine blades, and there are many variations in each. Most megawatt wind turbines have 3 blades that are wide at the hub and narro ws to a point at its tip. They are also shaped to give a lift to the blade similar to the wing of a plane. The Parallel Concave and Convex blade, commercially labeled as the 'Sumara' propeller blade, is designed specifically for wind turbines equipped with the auxiliar y propeller rotor on the same shaft as the primary rotor with a designated space of distance between the two. The 'Sumara' blade has the same width throughout, with a specific pitch and is designed to achieve a greater torque from its base to its tip. The leading edge to the wind is concave, providing least resistance to incoming air flow and the trailing ed ge is convex with a greater surface area. A semi-tubular beam rigidly supports the blade on the underside extending from the tip to its base, and converts to a stem that varies in length. The end of the stem is inserted into the receptor of the rotor and adjustmen t of the pitch is made by rotating the stem within the receptor of the rotor.
