FIELD: glass industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separating and protective materials used in transporting and storing sheet glass. Protective cover for sheet glass comprises polymer powder and, additionally, adipic acid as a powder. Polyethylene is used as a polymer powder in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: polyethylene, 90-95; adipic acid, the balance. Cover is applied on glass surface at temperature 80-100°C. Invention provides reducing friction value of glass sheets, alkali neutralization migrating to the glass surface. ^ EFFECT: improved and valuable technical properties of cover. ^ 1 tbl |
