The system has a control terminal (5) including a unit for receiving a current state of a call, and a graphical user interface for visualizing the current state of the call and a call manipulation function. A control unit e.g. mouse, controls the user interface for activating the call manipulation function. A request generating unit generates a task execution request specific to the call manipulation function using the user interface controlling unit. A transmission unit transmits a signal containing the request to a telephone server.
