FIELD: transport engineering; speed control systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of vehicles equipped with gearboxes with friction units for use in transmissions of truck-tractors, buses, special track-laying vehicles, etc. proposed system contains power switches connected with control drive electromagnets, selector with selected gear pickup and selector handle position pickup, switching device, device to generate value of current gear, device to generate control signals, device to from gear shift enabling signal, shifted-in gear pickup, device to check serviceability, device to generate failure signal and storage device. System provides maintaining of vehicle speed during shifting of selector handle from one position to the other, acceleration (braking) to maximum (minimum) possible speed at shifted-in gear, protection against wrong operation caused by nonconsecutive selector of gears, protection of transmission against failure of gearshift control electromagnets. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency of system. ^ 1 dwg |
