FIELD: different industries; lifting and transporting of containing and people by monorail systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device for lifting and transporting of containers has frame on rolls moving along guides and coupled with container. Device has alignment arrangement made in form of roll sensor rigidly secured on container, analyzer and actuator coupled with drives of tackle-block and brake winches installed n frame. Brake winches are connected with container by rigidly secured wire ropes, and drives of tackle-block winches are connected by wire ropes with tackle blocks installed on frame and container. Monorail is used as guide. ^ EFFECT: elimination of roll at lifting of containers, enlarged sphere of application of proposed device, increased safety. ^ 3 dwg
