FIELD: packages comprising articles or materials partially or wholly enclosed in strips, sheets, blanks, tubes, or webs of flexible sheet material. ^ SUBSTANCE: package is formed of sleeve 11 formed of heat-shrinkable plastic material and may be shrunk over packaged article or articles. The sleeve is created by folding film onto itself and by sealing film ends. Sleeve 11 wall is embossed in accordance with predetermined pattern 15 so that the pattern is convex on outer 13 and/or inner 14 sleeve surface and remains on package surface after package shrinkage.
