A user interface for arranging associated menu information included to different categories in parallel, and a device and a method for outputting the same are provided to easily search and play information corresponding to each item in the home network to select multiple items, and reduce the number of user inputs by offering multiple items of information when the item is selected. An interface storing part(940) stores the menu information of the first, second, and third category, and the menu information selected by a selector. An output part(920) displays the menu information of the first category to the first area, displays the menu information of the second category to the second area, displays the menu information of the third category to the third area, and arranges the first, second, and third area in parallel. An input receiver(910) receives the direction or selection input from a user. A controller(930) changes the menu information or the selector output to the output part by referring to the menu information stored in the interface storing part according to an input signal received from the signal input part.
