FIELD: rodent controlling technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: rodent killing apparatus has hollow casing, torsion spring, and slip knot type loop. Casing is provided at the side adjoining entrance hole with three cross slots. On actuation of apparatus, slip knot type loop is movable along first slot which fully intersects internal cavity from below. Two slots provided on side walls and equally spaced from first slot are made with depth sufficient for dividing internal cavity into three equal parts by means of thread which holds spring working hook in initial position and prevents movement of animal to bait. Spring coils are compactly, reliably and in simple manner secured by means of other working hook within slot, rearward of casing internal cavity, from the top. Slip knot type loop is loosely fixed at end of working hook and has size slightly greater than cross-section of casing. It allows slip knot type loop to fix working hook of spring in its initial position for time interval needed to fasten thread, while said slip knot type loop is left on casing, outside slot. ^ EFFECT: simplified manufacture process and improved operating conditions. ^ 2 dwg |
