A cofferdam construction method of a soft ground is provided to reduce construction hour of the cofferdam and secure stability by piling the sheet pile at the rock bed. A cofferdam construction method of a soft ground(60) is composed of a square block lamination step of consecutively laminating square blocks(10) whose inside has a hollow unit upwardly and downwardly bored and plane is square on the upper surface of the soft ground to the upper side of the water surface by using the crane of the barge ship; an inner rock bed excavation step of excavating the inner lower surface of the laminated square block until a rock bed(70) of the lower side of the soft ground by using the excavator of the barge ship; a square block sand filling step of filling good sands(40) in the excavated square block; a sealing construction step of piling a sheet pile(50) at the rock bed by using the pile machine of the barge ship at the front around the laminated square block and filling the sealing sand or cement between the sheet pipe and the square block; and a step of removing the water in the opposite side of the sheet pile, removing the soil of the soft ground for constructing a main structure(80) in a dried condition, and constructing the main structure.
