The gas purification plant has at least one reaction chamber (1, 4) containing a heater (2) and a pollutant absorption material (3) such as active carbon granules or a zeolite with two operating modes - one in which it is charged with pollutants from the fluid passing through it, and the other in which is it regenerated by heating, transferring pollutants to the fluid flow. Each heater is in the form of a self-regulating electrical resistance made from a doped polycrystalline ceramic with a low positive temperature coefficient Curie point located within the adsorption material. With two reaction chambers, one can operate in a purification mode while the other is in the regeneration mode, with the fluid in its circuit passing through a heat exchanger (5).
