<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing system or the like capable of appropriately calculating the time of each timing object even in the case that timing equipment can not be installed at the measuring position of the timing object. <P>SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. (a), when a bicycle BYa reaches a timing line L, a processor 50 specifies racing time T1. As shown in Fig. (b), when the radio tag 60a of the bicycle BYa reaches the timing line L, the radio tag 60a times timing time TT1. As shown in Fig. (c), when the radio tag 60b of the bicycle BYb reaches the timing line L, the radio tag 60b times timing time TT2. As shown in Fig. (d), a receiver 50 receives the timing time TT1 and TT2 and tag IDs from the radio tags 60a and 60b.
