<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric four wheel drive control system that makes it possible to prevent delay until the actual generated output of a generator reaches a target value and to enhance the response of a motor in driving torque generation. <P>SOLUTION: The four wheel drive (4WD) controller 17 includes the generator 15 driven by an engine 5; the motor 7 supplied with the generated output of the generator 15 and drives rear wheels 3L and 3R; a target motor torque computation unit 27 that computes a target motor torque for the motor 7 based on the running state of the relevant vehicle; and a power control unit 28 that supplies a power command value to the generator 15 to control power to be generated, so that the motor 7 can generate the target motor torque. The power control unit 28 adds auxiliary power for shortening the delay time until the generator 15 generates required power to basic power for the motor 7 to generate the target motor torque, and takes the result of the addition as the power command value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
