<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make operation feeling at an initial stage of brake operation excellent in a brake device for a vehicle in which a stroke simulator is provided between a brake operation member and a control piston of a hydraulic booster so as to obtain operation stroke feeling of the brake operation member. <P>SOLUTION: In the stroke simulator 14, an elastic body 199 comprising an elastic material and a spring member 200 made of metal having smaller spring constant than the elastic body 199 are interposed in series between an input member 194 continued to the brake operation member 11 and the control piston 66. The set load of the spring member 200 is set smaller than set load of the other spring member connected to the spring member 200 in series so as to exhibit spring force in fore-and-aft direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
