<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of shortening a period of time required for a start operation immediately after power supply. <P>SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with: an image decoder for decoding compressed image data; and a central processing unit for controlling the operation of the image processor including the image decoder according to a program for control.
