PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate power by utilizing an enormous energy of natural-flowing down water and cohesion which the flowing water possesses. SOLUTION: Two river-boats are jointed together, supported with posts, and floated on a river. The river boats are equipped with centipede-like annular belts (at least 50 m long) to which paddles are attached like centipedes. The belts are run round by the energy of the flowing down water and the cohesion of the river water to obtain combined energy. Pulleys and belts are put in motion to rotate or run round by the energy, and the rotational speed is gradually increased to generate electric power. Thus, the following problems are resolved. (α) Since the environment is not contaminated, global warming effect is prevented. (β) Since nature is utilized as it is, the ecosystem of fish, or any other organisms is maintained, and the natural environment is protected. (γ) As compared with the present hydraulic power generation, costs are reduced, because dams, conduits, balancing reservoirs are not required.
