PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device for a construction machine which facilitates the placing work of a wire rope for suspension work. SOLUTION: In the suspension device for a construction machine, an opening part 14 for inspection is formed in a rear center of a counter weight 6, and a hood 15 is openably/closeably provided in a manner of covering the opening part 14 and an upper part of an engine. In the suspension device, a lower end of a suspension body 17 is connected to the counter weight 6 inside the hood 15, and the front end is protruded from an upper face of the hood 15 through an insertion hole provided in the hood 15.
