PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution simultaneously realizing both a cooling structure for temperature equalization of a recording head by suppressing a temperature rise and a temperature unevenness of the head and a head structure for suppressing thermal deformation and warpage deformation. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head is provided with a recording element substrate wherein a plurality of nozzles for discharging a liquid and a plurality of recording elements for generating discharge energy are arrayed, is arranged on a recording element substrate supporting board, and an ink supply route is formed by joining of the recording element supporting board with an ink supply tank member. A part of the recording element substrate supporting board is provided with a part exposed in the ink path in the ink supply tank member, and the exposed part has a shape of heat radiation for dissipating the heat of the recording element substrate supporting board by ink in the ink supply tank member. By forming the exposed part shape as a head structure body, such mechanical strength improvement as suppression of a deformation by head heat, and suppression of warpage, is made at the same time.
