PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam generator installed on a ceiling part of a bathroom, efficiently generating a sufficient amount of steam and preventing the dispersion of droplets in generating the steam to the interior of the bathroom. SOLUTION: This steam generator is provided with a first heat exchanger generating the steam from hot water diffused by a diffusion means, a second heat exchanger having a heating means and generating hot air, and a wind supply means capable of forming a ventilation path between an inlet and an outlet by the actuation; is installed on the ceiling part of the bathroom; and is disposed with the first heat exchanger on the inlet side of the ventilation path, an air blowing means ion the outlet side, and the second heat exchanger in the ventilation path between the first heat exchanger and the air blowing means. The first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger are, for example, disposed in a casing in an approximately V shape or an inverse-V shape, or in parallel to each other in the side view.
