PRINTING PRIMARY COAT SOLUTION FOR PLASTIC FILM AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD USING THIS SOLUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing primary coat solution which is used with an aqueous pigmented ink composition and thereby, can form a plastic recording object with excellent abrasion resistance, blemish resistance and water resistance.

SOLUTION: This printing primary coat solution is applicable to an inkjet recording medium with a recording surface formed of a plastic film. In addition, the solution comprises at least, a cyclic amide compound represented by formula (I) [in the formula, R is a straight-chain or a branched chain 2-12C saturated hydrocarbon chain and X is a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or a branched chain 1-6C alkyl group], a thermoplastic resin and a main solvent. The thermoplastic resin is dispersed in the primary coat solution.
