<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent image even if a shading correction amount becomes great in accordance with a photographing setting condition. <P>SOLUTION: Correction is performed using shading correction data required for correcting shading in accordance with a photographing setting condition and gamma correction data corresponding to said shading correction data.
