<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave heating device having a practical structure which enables local intensive heating while performing the uniform heating of the whole heating chamber with a wide width. <P>SOLUTION: The microwave heating device comprises a microwave generating means 32, a waveguide 33, a heating chamber having a shape with a width direction dimension larger than a depth direction dimension, a non-rotating mounting table 35 to mount a heating object, a heating object housing space 36, an antenna space 37, rotary antennas 38, 39 arranged in symmetrical locations in the width direction in a heating chamber in order to radiate the microwave in the heating chamber, drive means 40, 41 of the rotary antennas, and a control means 411 to control directions of the rotary antennas by controlling the drive means. The control means 411 controls a portion having the strong radiation directivity of at least one rotary antenna to a prescribed direction and heat intensively a specified heating object. Thereby, a practical structure is obtained in which local intensive heating is conducted while also enabling the uniform heating of the whole heating chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
