<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating method of a slab heating furnace for efficiently operating a series of equipment to manufacture a hot-rolled steel strip having desired properties when performing rolling operation by using the series of rolling equipment having the slab heating furnace, a roughing mill and a finishing mill. <P>SOLUTION: In this operating method of the slab heating furnace, when performing the finish rolling of the slab with a hot strip mill by operating the series of rolling equipment having the slab heating furnace, the roughing mill and the finishing mill, the cumulative waiting time of rolling of a slab group in the finishing mill is calculated about every combination of extracting order of the group of slabs the extracting order from the heating furnace of which is changeable and the group of slabs are heated and extracted according to the combination of the extracting order by which the cumulative waiting time of the group of slabs is minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
