PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic reinforced resin composition capable of being used in products used in a bath room, lavatory, toilet and kitchen such as a sink counter, kitchen counter, face-washing bowl, hand-washing bowl, toilet counter, cabinet top plate, etc., having an extremely good appearance and excellent in light fastness, mechanical properties, rigidity, surface hardness and dimensional stability, and a molded article by using the same. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic reinforced resin composition containing (A) a polytrimethylene terephthalate, (B) a thermoplastic resin, (C) a light stabilizer and (D) an inorganic filler is characterized by satisfying the following (i) to (iii) conditions. (i) The weight ratio of the (A) component to the (B) component is within (1/99)-(100/0) range. (ii) The content of the (C) light-stabilizer is 0.01-5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total of the (A) component and the (B) component.
