PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which provides a recorder which performs recorder processing to an imaging pickup and a record medium of a disk type, can perform vibrating detection for vibration-proofing control in the imaging pickup, by utilizing component functions carried on the recorder. SOLUTION: A head source position detection circuit 126 compares a differential signal and a first reference value which a comparison circuit 120 outputs, detects origination of vibrating when the differential signal exceeds the first reference value, and outputs a detection pulse including a width of a predetermined period. A sign detection circuit 128 detects a magnitude direction of the differential signal which the comparison circuit 120 outputs, and outputs a sign pulse. An integrating circuit 132 outputs an integration value, processing an integration of a partial used as the magnitude direction according to a polarity of a direction pulse, to the differential signal which a comparing means outputs for a period according to the detection pulse. An imaging lens horizontal axis vibration-proofing control circuit 136 outputs the control signal for performing vibration-proofing control of a specific direction in an imaging device of the imaging portion according to the integration value of the integrating circuit 132 is outputted.
