PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member capable of preventing narrowing of a space at a lead-out part caused by the reduction of an amount of crimping devices by reducing the number of connecting blocks of a plasma display panel and by narrowing a terminal line pitch, etc. SOLUTION: The substrate for a plasma display is composed as follows. An electrode pattern, which is composed of at least a plurality of electrode lines, a plurality of terminal lines, and a plurality of lead-out lines connecting the electrode line and the terminal line, is formed on a substrate. A plurality of the connecting blocks, which are composed of n (n is a natural number of≥4) terminal lines provided at equal intervals, are formed to the substrate for a plasma display. When lengths of the i-th surface from both ends of the connecting blocks are respectively set to L<SB>Ri</SB>(mm) and L<SB>Li</SB>(mm) (however, L<SB>Ri</SB>and L<SB>Ri+1</SB>are adjacent, and L<SB>Li</SB>and L<SB>Li+1</SB>are adjacent (i is a natural number of≤n/2-1)), formula (1): L<SB>Ri</SB><L<SB>Ri+1</SB>and formula (2): L<SB>Li</SB><L<SB>Li+1</SB>are satisfied in the substrate for a plasma display.
