PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from being absorbed into the inside of an air dynamic-pressure bearing or prevent the absorbed dust from floating in the inside and the outside of the air dynamic-pressure bearing. SOLUTION: This air dynamic-pressure bearing 9 is provided with a plurality of dynamic-pressure generating parts 20A, 20B, 21 provided with a fixed part 15 and a rotary part 11 rotated for the fixed part 15 and constituted by forming dynamic-pressure generating grooves 18, 19 for pulling air in by relative rotation of the fixed part 15 and the rotary part 11 on a face on one side of faces where they are opposingly arranged at a minute interval in the radial direction and/or the axial direction of the fixed part 15 and the rotary part 11. This dynamic-pressure bearing 9 is provided with through holes 22, 23 passing through a wall face of a member constituting the fixed part 15 or the rotary part 11 and opened among the dynamic-pressure generating parts 20A, 20B, 21 and a filter 25 arranged in the through holes 22, 23 or a flow passage 24 for leading air into the through holes 22, 23 to catch dust.
