PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical board for a louver and the louver using this vertical board, having superior waterproof performance, and superior in the ventilation function. SOLUTION: This vertical board 5 for the louver has a first curved part 51, a second curved part 52, a third curved part 53, a connecting part 54, an external face part 55, an internal face part 56, a flashing part 59, and a flashing part 60. The vertical board 5 for the louver is constituted by juxtaposing the first curved part 51, the third curved part 53 and the second curved part 52 in its width direction in a projecting state. The first curved part 51 and the third curved part 53 are connected via the connecting part 54, and the second curved part 52 is connected to an inner side side end part of the third curved part 53.
