PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device which can lock a swing door by fitting a dead bolt protruding from a swing door into a strike formed in a door frame with good accuracy at a stopping location. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the locking device, a width y of an opening 81 of a strike fitting 8, that is in parallel with moving directions a, b of the swing door 1, is set larger than a width x of the dead bolt 51 of an electric lock 5 arranged in the swing door 1, that extends in the same direction. A surface of the opening 81, opposed to the swing door 1, is formed like a curved surface with a curvature similar to that of a moving orbit depicted by an edge of the swing door 1.
