PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an oxygen-barring multilayer material for containers which absorbs oxygen from the inside, intercepts oxygen from the outside and in addition intercepts the volatile matter that is the by-product by oxidation reaction. SOLUTION: The oxygen-barring multilayer structure comprises, between an inner layer (D) and an outer layer (E), an oxygen absorbing layer (B) containing at least an oxygen absorbing resin composition and an inside barrier layer (A) and an outside barrier layer (C) which are each located in the inner layer side and the outer layer side of the oxygen absorbing layer. The average film thickness of the multilayer structure is≥200μm, the sum of the ratios of the film thicknesses of (A), (B) and (C) is≤20 (preferably≤15), and the film thickness ratio of the inside barrier layer (A) is smaller than that of the outside barrier layer (C).
