PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve troubles that the shape of a rubber band is transferred on the hair bundle after having a perm and work efficiency is lowered by the use of a stick as a spacer by securing a space between the rubber band and the hair bundle with a projecting member as a spacer provided in the rubber band itself, when the hair bundle wound around a rod is locked and fixed with the rubber band for perming the hair at a beauty parlor. SOLUTION: This rubber band is provided with a ring part 2 constituted of a rubber string into an annular shape, and a plurality of projecting members 3 having the diameter larger than that of the rubber string along the longitudinal direction of the ring part.
