METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOVERING CARBON DIOXIDE IN EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for recovering carbon dioxide which increase the rate of gas hydrate generation reaction at a low temperature that is generally very low, and recover and effectively utilize unused cold heat discarded when LNG used as a fuel in a combined cycle power plant is gasified, thereby achieving low energy consumption.

SOLUTION: The method for recovering carbon dioxide is provided for recovering carbon dioxide in an exhaust gas as gashydrate. The method comprises the steps of: cooling the exhaust gas 1 to a prescribed temperature by utilizing the cold heat of a liquefied natural gas b in a facility where the liquefied natural gas b is used as a fuel; forming fine ice i by atomizing water into a fine ice generator 23 cooled to a predetermined temperature by utilizing the cold heat of the liquefied natural gas b; and forming carbon dioxide hydrate by introducing the fine ice i and the exhaust gas 1f cooled to the prescribed temperature into a gas hydrate generator 14 and reacting the fine ice i with carbon dioxide in the exhaust gas 1.
