<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle communication system for informing a driver of the presence of a moving body that an own vehicle could not detect. <P>SOLUTION: The inter-vehicle communication system, where vehicles communicate each other, comprises cameras 11, 11 that are provided for each vehicle and image the periphery of the vehicle; an object detection section 32 for detecting a mobile object from the image imaged by the cameras 11, 11; a speaker 21 provided for each vehicle for generating sound; a sound data generation section 41d that is provided for each vehicle for generating sound data related to sound to be generated by the speaker of the vehicle; and a transceiver 19 that is provided for each vehicle for transmitting and receiving data.
