<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control tightening force of a start friction element at start time effectively and improve durability of a tightening element of the start friction element. <P>SOLUTION: In this vehicle equipped with the automatic transmission provided with a gear shift mechanism for inputting power rotation from a power source and shifting gear for the power rotation at a predetermined change gear ratio to output to driving wheels and the start friction element arranged between the power source and an input side of the gear shift mechanism to transmit or shut off power between them, a rotary sensor for detecting rotational speed on an input side or an output side of the gear shift mechanism is provided on either or both of the input side and the output side of the gear shift mechanism, and tightening force of the start friction element is increased when the rotary sensor detects a default value being a lower limit value of values detected by the rotary sensor twice when the vehicle starts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
