PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk stack method for reducing dusts caused when a magnetic disk or a spacer ring is inserted into a rotary shaft. SOLUTION: The disk stack method to incorporate a magnetic disk D and a spacer ring R into a roughly vertically arranged mandrel M includes: a first step of inserting one of the magnetic disk and the spacer ring into the mandrel and placing it on a bush B arranged in the mandrel in a freely movable manner in a vertical direction; a second step of moving the bush downward by a thickness in the vertical direction of the magnetic disk or the spacer ring placed on the bush in the first step after the first step; and a third step of mounting the other of the magnetic disk and the space ring on the upper surface of the magnetic disk or the spacer ring placed on the bush in the first step.
