PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapping device of a water boiler of high usability by improving the responsiveness of a switch to the operation of a push button without increasing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The push button 5 is mounted on a cover of the tapping device connected with a tapping pipe of the water boiler. The push button 5 presses an operation element of the switch through a strip-shaped arm 15 composed of an elastic material. The operation element of the switch is positioned at an oblique lower portion with respect to the center of the push button 5, so that the operation element is pressed from the lower edge side of the tip of the arm 15 accompanied by the pressing of the push button 5. A projecting portion 26 is formed on the upper edge side of the inner end of the push button 5 to increase a pressing quantity at the upper edge 28 side of the longitudinal intermediate portion of the arm 15 in comparison with the lower edge 29 side of the longitudinal intermediate portion of the arm 15.
