PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten axial dimensions of a clutch device and a torque transmission device such as a torque limiter device. SOLUTION: The clutch device 1 has a clutch disk assembling body 3 and a clutch cover assembling body 4. The clutch cover assembling body 4 is provided with a clutch cover 41 connected with a fly wheel 2; a diaphragm spring 43 having an annular elastic part 43a for energizing a pressure plate 42 to the axial fly wheel 2 side, and a plurality of lever part 43b extending from the elastic part 43a to inside of the radial direction; and a cone spring 50 combined with the elastic part 43a in series to reduce change in energizing force with respect to the pressure plate 42 when the clutch disk 33 is worn. The cone spring 52 energizes the diaphragm spring 43 so as to maintain the axial positions of the inner peripheral ends of the lever members 43a of the diaphragm spring 43 at a constant level when the clutch disk 33 is worn.
