PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition that can form a product capable of coping with the VOC (volatile organic compounds) regulation without lowering performances and productivity of the product. SOLUTION: The unsaturated polyester resin composition comprises (A) an unsaturated polyester, (B) radically polymerizable monomers mainly composed of styrene, (C) a curing accelerator composed of a cobalt salt, (D) an auxiliary curing accelerator containing a compound having an acetylaceto group, and (E) a mixed curing agent comprising acetylacetone peroxide and at least one selected from the group consisting of peroxyester-based organic peroxides and hydroperoxide-based organic peroxides, where the mixed curing agent (E) is contained in an amount of 1.6-5 mass% based on the unsaturated polyester resin composition.
