PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile seat height adjusting device capable of decreasing a supporting shaft supported by a seat side frame, and simplifying a structure. SOLUTION: A link base frame 15 is provided, which lays links 3, 4 between right and left seat installing brackets 1a, 1b and right and left seat side frames 2 and integrally hold the links 3, 4 by coupling shafts 5, 6. An operation knob 7 is equipped to one side portion of a seat, and the operation knob 7 and the link base frame 15 are connected by an operation transmitting portion 20. The link base frame 15 is assembled so as to vertical rock corresponding to the operation of the operation knob 7. The operation transmitting portion 20 has a rotation transmitting member 9 journaled to the seat side frame 2 so as to rotate corresponding to the operation of the operation knob 7, and a link rod 10 connecting a position eccentric from a rotation center of the rotation transmitting member 9 and a rear side link 9 of the link base frame 15. A supporting shaft 3b journaling a front side link 3 of the link base frame 15 to the seat side frame 2 and a supporting shaft 3b of the rotation transmitting member 9 are made from the same shaft element.
