PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the preparing method of a lithographic printing plate, the hydrophilic nature of a non-image part and its durability of which is excellent, in which printing can be possible without passing through any development treatment process after the formation of an image part and which is excellent in scumming properties and the ink removing properties of the non-image part. SOLUTION: This preparing method comprises a process for forming a cross-linked hydrophilic layer on a support by curing a hydrophilic polymer having a cross-linkable group at its one terminal and a cross-linker under heat or light and a process for forming a hydrophobic image by curing an inkjet composition jetted on the formed cross-linked hydrophilic layer under heat or light.
