PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot quality detection method and a dot quality detecting apparatus which achieve an easy and quick detection of dot quality and to provide a liquid droplet ejecting apparatus. SOLUTION: The dot quality detection method for detecting quality of a dot obtained by shooting a liquid droplet ejected from a nozzle of an ejecting head onto an inspection work has an image acquiring step (S1) of acquiring an electronic image of the dot formed on the inspection work, a measuring point acquiring step (S4) of acquiring measured data of dot slippage amount in the electronic image and an occurrence cause specifying step (S5) of specifying the occurrence cause of trouble in the measured data.
