PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vegetable from sticking onto the blade surface of a kitchen knife in slicing. SOLUTION: A projection 5 is provided on the blade surface 1 of the kitchen knife, so as to reduce an area to contact the sliced vegetable, to provide a separation effect, and to raise cutting and separating performance.
