A sliding door includes a track having a longitudinal channel to slidably receive a carrier, a door panel secured to the carrier, a bracket attached to one end of the track and having a pathway and a pulley, and a recovering device having a cable. The cable has one end secured to the track, and a middle portion slidably engaged through the pathway of the bracket, and the other end secured to the carrier. The door panel and the carrier are movable along the track against the cable, and the cable is engageable around the pulley of the bracket, to recover and to force the door panel and the carrier backward toward the end portion of the track when the door panel is released. One or more spring members may be engaged in the cable. |
