The reproducer has a signal processing device to process audio signals generated by a formation device to generate a sound field. The processing device produces a gradient in audio pressure distribution, such that a pressure level of tones radiated by acoustic sources to a hearing position is increased inversely proportional to angles between the arrival directions of the tones and a straight line interconnecting the sources. An independent claim is also included for an audio-video signal reproducing method.
