<p>A microarray-based magnetic bead separator by which a target substance labeled by a multiplicity of micromagnetic beads of nanometer size in test liquid can be separated magnetically at high speed together with the magnetic beads, and a large number of kinds of magnetic beads can be separated simultaneously from a small quantity of test liquid. By means of a plurality of dispensers and pipette chips, each test liquid containing a specific living body substance labeled by magnetic beads is dispensed to a plurality of microvessels, a ferromagnetic wire is arranged on the inner side of each of the plurality of microvessels and magnetized by applying the magnetic field of a magnet to form the gradient of magnetic field, the ferromagnetic wire is made to attract the magnetic beads in the test liquid, and the residual test liquid in each microvessel after the magnetic beads are attracted to the ferromagnetic wire is sucked and collected by means of the pipette chip.</p> |
