A method and a system for offering caller-appointed multimedia contents using URL(Uniform Resource Locator) information are provided to enable a caller to easily update the multimedia contents and appoint the different multimedia contents to each receiver by offering the caller-appointed multimedia contents including the URL information of a multimedia content offering server to a receiver mobile terminal. A network interface part(200) offers a communication interface needed for offering the caller-appointed multimedia contents in a data packet type. A program storing part(206) includes control software for registering, modifying, storing, and deleting the caller-appointed multimedia contents, inserting the URL information into the caller-appointed multimedia contents, offering the caller-appointed multimedia contents to the receiver mobile terminal, and generating and editing the caller-appointed multimedia contents by receiving A/V(Audio/Video) data from a terminal. A subscriber information database(210) stores user information. A multimedia content database(212) stores the multimedia contents needed for making the caller-appointed multimedia contents in a 2D(Dimensional) or 3D graphic type.
