A method of synchronizing video and audio signals in a digital broadcasting receiver is provide to select an input source a user wants to view, control an audio delay setting value through a menu and store the audio delay setting value in a memory to allow the user to select an optimized state value for each input source and individually manage each input source. Parameter information about lip synchronization of video and audio signals is stored. A user controls the stored parameter information about lip synchronization for each channel or each input source the user wants to view. Lip synchronization difference between the video and audio signals is controlled using the controlled lip synchronization parameter information.
