A dummy fuse element, an electronic device with the same, and a method for operating the dummy fuse element are provided to reduce a processing time and to improve the yield of products by being applied to a liquid crystal display. A dummy fuse element(100) includes a switching part and a fuse. The switching part(110) is used for performing an electric signal transferring process by conducting electrically itself in case of an abnormal transfer state of an electric signal in a main fuse(130). The fuse(120) is used to prevent the transfer of the electric signal by opening itself when the voltage of the electric signal supplied by the switching part is over a predetermined reference value.
