PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molecule for transferring a nucleic acid into cells and to provide a method for transferring a nucleic acid into cells.

SOLUTION: The method for transferring a nucleic acid into cells comprises (1) a process for binding a fusion protein that contains the whole or partial structure of an RNA binding protein and a membrane-permeable carrier peptide and has an RNA binding property and membrane permeability with an RNA having a recognition sequence to the RNA binding protein and an arbitrary sequence and (2) a process for mixing a conjugate of the fusion protein and the RNA with arbitrary cells in which the RNA bound with the fusion protein is transferred into the cells by properties of the membrane-permeable carrier peptide contained in the structure of the fusion protein.
