<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manually release the braked state of a parking brake while providing the braked state by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In this parking brake device, a lock piston 64 automatically locks, at the advanced position, a parking piston 53 capable of driving the operation member 33 of a parking brake mechanism 11 to provide the braked state and operates it to an unlocking side according to the increase of a liquid pressure in a control liquid pressure chamber 69 for releasing parking by an advancing operation according to the increase of a liquid pressure in a control liquid pressure chamber 54 for parking facing the rear face of the lock piston.
