PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce abrasion by improving sliding characteristics between a contact trip and a contact wire at low costs. SOLUTION: When a vehicle 2 travels in a direction A and passes in front of a passage section S, in which local abrasion might be generated to a contact wire 6a, a vehicle passage detection device 10 detects passage of the vehicle 2. A control device 10 commands start of an injection action to a gas injection part 9d of a supply device 9 corresponding to a timing, when a contact plate 5a enters the passage section S. As a result, the gas injection part 9d injects compressed air to a powder accommodation part 9c, so that powder P is injected from an injection port 9a toward a sliding part of the contact wire 6a, and adhered to the contact wire 6a. Thereafter, when the contact plate 5a enters the passage section S, the powder S is supplied to the sliding part between the contact plate 5a and the contact plate 6a, so that abrasion resistance between them is lowered and abrasion is also lowered.
